It is about one year old, but very well treated..

I have installed everything by myself, so I have been very careul to preserve a fair balance between programs installed, - free space, and system performance.
Thus, this litle baby runs smoothly and better than the first day i bought it.
The Hard Drive is partitioned in three partitions. One for the OS, one for the data and backups, and a hidden partition that contains the original factory settings from Acer. In this partition is hidden a windows Vista Home Basic operating system. But since I don't like Vista, I installed XP PRO, for a better and complete experience.
I have also removed all Acer factory featured software, as they are a waste of space and performance and i find them completely uselss. Although, all these programs can be reinstalled upon user's request at any time, as I have kept all the origial installation files in the Data Partition; where you can find all the XP drivers in a self installation program, in case unsupervised rednecks get hold of your computer.
You can shoot videos and pictures by using this laptop's webcam, as I have hacked into the programing of it; thing that Acer itself doesn't deliver by default. So, by factory setings, you could use the webcam only to take occassional pictures, and as a simple webcam; now, you can shoot realtime HR videos and can create your own movies by using the featured software. (Nero 7.5)
It also has Eset Smart Security v 3.0.6, which includes a firewall and antispyware program integrated; with almost hourly definition updates with 67 years (24661 days) left to expire. - Extra light for your system, and unforgivable to new and still-to-be invented viruses and malware.
The screen has no dead pixels or scratches and is ultrasharp.
The battery of this latop can easily hold charge for 2 hours.
I have upgraded the memory myself to 1 GB RAM, as by default it comes with 512 MB.
It's desktop and visual styles are MAC-alike; without using any extra software that can cause faults or problems.
I've never had problems with this laptop, so i can guarantee you too will have an enjoyable experience with it.
It's only £325, because I have another laptop/barely use this one, and I'm going overseas for holidays in a couple of weeks(need some extra cash).
This laptop comes as is, so, with lots of free stuff, a dosen of recent movies in dvx; more than 500 extracool Hi-res wallpapers and themes.
